Michael Hudgins, 34, Shot On 4th Avenue Early Thursday Morning

Police responded to a shooting at approximately 1:13 a.m. Thursday in the 2600 block of 4th Avenue where they found the victim,  Michael Hudgins, 34, suffering from a gunshot wound to the face.  

He was transported to a local hospital for treatment of the non-life-threatening injury.  It was reported to detectives that Hudgins was standing on the corner of 4th Avenue and Foust Street when the suspect shot him and fled in a dark-colored truck.  

The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
