Scenic City Women’s Network Marketplace Luncheon Is Oct. 26, Featuring Jane Henegar

The Scenic City Women’s Network Marketplace Luncheon will be held on Thursday, Oct. 26, at the Mountain City Club, featuring speaker, Jane Henegar, former GPS Bible teacher.

Married to Henry, Ms. Henegar is the mother of three adult children and grandmother of six with her seventh arriving in November. 

Ms. Henegar was a beloved Bible teacher at GPS for 30 years. She taught New Testament, Hebrew Scriptures and Global Issues.  She clearly loved her job and cared about her student’s hearts and their minds.  Although retired, she continues her passion of teaching as a substitute teacher. 

She and her husband are founding members of Rock Creek Fellowship near their home, where she teaches middle school Sunday school.
She also leads a Bible study for young women. 

For 44 years and still going, Ms. Henegar edits and continues writing for the Fare Exchange, the weekly recipe feature in the Times Free Press. 

The “Praying Life,” a book of her prayers over the years, was compiled by Sara Gahan and illustrated by GPS students. It was published in 2012.

Ms. Henegar is a beloved teacher, a Godly woman and loving wife.  Scenic City Women’s Network is honored and priveledged to have her as the October 26th Marketplace Speaker.

Pedestrian Struck And Severely Injured In East Ridge Thursday Night
