Good Neighbors, Inc. To Host Flea Market, Festival As Part Of Recruitment Efforts

Good Neighbors of Chattanooga is hosting a flea market and festival on Saturday, Oct. 28, starting at 9 a.m., at Whiteside Park, 756 MLK Blvd. The event will kickoff its annual fundraising campaign.

Good Neighbors, one of the oldest non-profits in Chattanooga, is seeking support from churches, businesses, individuals and other supporters.  In its more than 60 years of service, Good Neighbors has been a resource for many, providing rental and utility assistance to families and individuals.


Festival-goers will enjoy food vendors, a talent showcase, games and fun for the entire family. Admission is free. Everyone is encouraged and welcome to attend.

Contributions may be made to Good Neighbors, Inc., and sent to 737 E 10th Street, Chatttanooga, Tn. 37403.

Stuffing Strut 5K Is Less Than Two Weeks Away

Man Fires At Woman Stealing His Car At Broad Street Raceway; Both End Up In Jail

A man had his car stolen at the Raceway on South Broad Street on Sunday night and both he and the car thief wound up in jail.   Police said they charged Donald Kenyatta Domino, 23, of 747 E. Chattanooga Police Investigating Shooting That Victim Says Happened A Week Ago

Chattanooga Police responded to a local hospital on Friday evening after a person arrived with a gunshot wound.   The injured man told police he was shot on Thursday, Oct. 11.
