Chattanooga Latin Nights Returns To Downtown Chattanooga

All community members are invited to a night of Latin music, dancing, live painting, and food in downtown Chattanooga on Saturday, April 8 from 7 p.m.-midnight at The Camp House, 149 E MLK Blvd. in Chattanooga.

"Chattanooga Latin Nights has become one of the biggest and most anticipated Latin dance parties happening in downtown Chattanooga. Come celebrate and enjoy the sounds and flavors of Latin America," officials said.  "Kicking things off at 8 p.m., Jesse Ramos from G2G Salsa will be offering a complimentary salsa dancing class. Live music will be provided by local favorites, Carlos Colon and The Tropical Swing Band, followed by DJ Flux 308, who will be playing all your favorite Latino beats. Local visual artists Anier Fernández and Danny Siviter will be painting live throughout the event. Miguel Morales from The FEED Co. has joined the party this year as our featured local restaurant and will be selling a delicious entrée, only available through advanced purchased dinner package. A portion of the event’s proceeds will be donated to local music education organization, Jazzanooga."

Admission is $12 if purchased in advance through the ticketing website, $15 if purchased on the day of the show. Special Dinner Package costs $30 and is available for advanced purchase only.

Cliftina Jones Charged In Death Of Orange Grove Center Client, Whose Body Was Found In Van

A Chattanooga woman has been charged in the death of an Orange Grove Center client whose body was found April 18 at an Orange Grove residence. Cliftina K. After police on Wednesday released clear photos of a man who tried to tried to rape a woman in the MLK Neighborhood, multiple callers said it was "Tom" who works at Amazon.
