Ooltewah Wallops Cleveland 13-0 In 5-3A Softball

Ooltewah’s Hadley Morrow threw a five-inning no-hitter on Wednesday, the Lady Owls collected 14 hits and routed lowly Cleveland 13-0 in District 5-3A softball action in Cleveland.

Morrow (4-0) allowed just one base runner, walking the Cleveland leadoff batter in the first inning and then retiring 15 in a row. She struck out one as the Lady Owls improved to 17-4 overall and 6-1 in the district.

Tiera Lemon went 2-for-4 with a three-run triple and scored twice for Ooltewah. Aubbie Collake belted a two-run homer, her fourth of the season.

Kayla Boseman had two hits and drove in two runs and Jadyn Raschke added two hits, scored a run, drove in one and stole a base.

Cleveland is 1-16 and 0-6.
