Chattanooga Lookouts starting pitcher Felix Jorge threw six shutout innings to lead the home team to a 3-0 shutout win over the Biloxi Shuckers.  Thursday's win evened the Lookouts record at 7-7.

Jorge was dominant right off the bat, only allowing six hits in six innings while striking our four. This was Jorge's first six inning game of the season.

Last year eight of Jorge's 11 starts with the Lookouts were six or more innings.

Tied at 0-0 entering the bottom of the fourth the Lookouts offense struck when Dan Rohlfing smacked his team-leading third homer of the season.

Chattanooga bolstered their lead in the bottom of the fifth on a Engelb Vielma RBI single and in the sixth on a Jose Gonzalez RBI double.

Up three runs late Nick Burdi and Mason Melotakis combined for three scoreless innings and four strikeouts. Both pitchers have yet to give an earned run this season.
