Friday, August 11, 2017

The public is invited to the annual smART art auction benefiting Southern Lit Alliance on Thursday, Sept. 21 at 6 p.m.

This memorable evening includes delicious catering by SwissAm, funky music by Moose Truck, and libations by Riverside Wine and Spirits.

"The event benefits Southern Lit Alliance outreach programs which seek to promote readership across all age groups and provide personalized literary arts programs that develop creativity and curiosity. Programs such as Theatre Express, Writers in Classrooms, Creative Writing Workshops for Teachers, and the annual Young Southern Student Writers competition are mainstays in the Chattanooga community. So Lit Outreach enriches the education of countless students in elementary, high school, and college classrooms.  Later this fall, So Lit will also host the SouthWord Literary Festival," officials said.
