Respect And Follow Immigration Laws

Saturday, January 13, 2018

Senator Corker,

My strong views concerning this country's immigration policies have not changed.  All of the "dreamers" here illegally (that means knowingly in violation of this country's immigration laws at the time they came or were brought in) are now adult and therefore criminals and should be treated as such with the exception of those who volunteered for the military.

There was a time when I would have done everything possible to review each case if they came forward and requested an opportunity to stay here based on their experience as a potential United States citizen, but that time has been blunted by all of the political activism that has put a great number of them before the cameras these past few days, especially in the wee hours of the morning, cutting down this country and those of us citizens who have paid their way rather than their being on the job working to pay for their upkeep and creating a personal record hopefully to justify citizenship in the future.

The present climate concerning immigrants recently created by the President is more than "unfortunate."  It is in violation of everything I consider sacred and therefore is unforgivable.  No, this country was not built by the black populations as I am hearing on the news this morning as a self-generated put-back against the white population.  They helped just as the redskins and yellowskins helped, but the white movement was the driving force in search of freedom to live and worship, has always been the driving force, and has always made concessions to expand the force to include anyone willing to work to be free.  They established the laws, administered the laws, and punished the violations commensurate with the crime.  All colors make up our government today.  Everyone needs to get off the color binge and put their minds squarely on individual responsibility to know the law, follow the law, and be a model to justify citizenship in this country.  If they cannot do that, go home, wherever that may be, and relieve the American taxpayers and retirees of footing the bill to provide your ever-increasing "needs" as your movement throughout our country is caught up in your fight for the right to vote in order to control the country.  No way!  Too many have gone beyond the highest marks on the scale to become decorated, honored, and historic Americans.  So our laws work.  All it takes is the will to respect and follow them.

I have searched my roots back to the 1300's in Europe and know the ship and its passenger list that brought my ancestors to this country in 1610.  The rest is American history to me.  Put pettiness aside and work together to assure us that everyone in this country is an American citizen or is on a legal path to become one based on their conduct, respect for our laws, and pride in the value of freedom.  That is the only way we can become and succeed as One Nation, Under God, Indivisible With Liberty and Justice For All.

Not Quite Human Anymore - And Response (2)

Much like birds, some feel as thought they are part of a different evolutionary chain. This is a curse one would receive at birth almost like an itch that is impossible to scratch. It is an intrinsic part of one’s self and at all times undeniable probably best described as innate existential thought. In these troubled times of nihilistic and ravenous political discourse it simply ... (click for more)

Roy Exum: Scream ‘Sexual Assault!’

Candace Owens, a communications director for the conservative non-profit “Turning Point,” wasted not a minute’s time as the Democratic debauchery of Supreme Court appointee Brett Kavanaugh raced like a prairie fire across America. There is little doubt that many politicians -- on either side of the aisle -- play a little loose with the truth. But this Eleventh Hour attack on the ... (click for more)

Central Ends Good Week With Win Over East Ridge

Central volleyball coach Holly Ware saw on the Lady Pounders home court Tuesday  night what the second-year coach had seen in her mind for most of this volleyball season.   “Our numbers are not impressive, but they also don’t show what I know this team is capable of being. It has been an emotional roller coaster this year from one game to another, one match ... (click for more)

Inspired Chattanooga Christian Sweeps Notre Dame

Chattanooga Christian and Notre Dame have built a really good rivalry in recent years, especially in volleyball.
