CCS Girls, Notre Dame Boys Win Division II Consolation Games

First Round Games Set for Tuesday, Wednesday

Two Chattanooga schools were fighting for a home state basketball game on Saturday with CCS battling Notre Dame in both the girls and boys consolation games of the Division II East Region tournament.  

The CCS girls earned a third place finish with a 44-30 win over Notre Dame.   The third seed in the east will host third seed out of the middle on Tuesday.  Notre Dame will have to travel to the second place team in the west.  

The Notre Dame boys earned the home game with a 49-45 win over CCS. 

Addie Henry led the CCS girls with 21 points.  Kate Dirkse added 10.  

In the boys game, CJ Greer had 13 points as Notre Dame held of CCS in the final minutes.

Fight Breaks Out During Friday Dismissal At Central High School; Joshua Maddox, 18, Is Arrested With 3 Juveniles
