The Soddy Daisy boy’s high school lacrosse team extended its winning streak to eight games with a 11-5 victory against Cookeville on Friday evening.
The Trojans are ranked No. 1 in TSLA Club Division 2 in Tennessee.
The No. 1 Trojans (8-0) went into halftime ahead 5-2 against the Cavaliers (1-5) and a solid second half allowed the hosts to see out the victory and remain undefeated.
Sophomore attacker Ethan Hyde had a team-high four goals. Eight different players scored for the Trojans.
In goal, senior keeper Justin Kaulfuss made 7 saves and earned the win. AJ Rogers won 9 of 13 faceoff attempts and Ben Jenkins collected 8 ground balls.
The Trojans host Dalton next Wednesday in Soddy Daisy.
