Marc Gravitt Has Served In An Exemplary Manner

Tuesday, April 24, 2018

I would like to formally endorse Marc Gravitt for the office of Register of Deeds.  Marc has served the citizens of House District 30 in an exemplary manner.  He has forged friendships in the state legislature that will be invaluable once he is elected to the Register of Deeds office.  Having served in the legislative, I know first hand the value of those relationships.

Marc will be able to understand legislation that affects his office, he will have the relationships so vital in stopping detrimental laws from being passed and pushing positive change when needed.  Marc will also become an asset to those in the legislature.

His friends left behind in the legislature will reach out to him when considering bills that have an impact on the register’s office. They will also put a greater value on his opinion than most others.  I still have quite a number of friends in Nashville.  All of them agree that Marc has been effective as a legislator and will continue to be a source after he steps into this role.  I look forward to having his knowledge and expertise utilized at the local level.

The Dean family is happy to endorse Marc Gravitt for Register of Deeds.

Lookout Valley Falls Just Short Of State Tournament

Season endings are always painful, but much like a burn injury, there are degrees of pain. The Lookout Valley Jackets saw a monster season come to a close Saturday one step shy of a Class A state tournament berth, falling 7-4 to a good University High School out of Johnson City in a Class A Sectional battle.   The immediate aftermath cut deep into ...
