Free Summer Workshops For Parents Of Children With Autism Spectrum Disorders

Siskin Children’s Institute, in partnership with the Chattanooga Autism Center and Vanderbilt Kennedy Center’s Treatment & Research Institute for Autism Spectrum Disorders (TRIAD) program, will offer three workshops this summer for parents with children diagnosed or suspected of having an autism spectrum disorder. Workshops will be held on June 9, July 14 and Aug. 11 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Siskin Children’s Institute. 

Each session will last three hours and focus on providing parents and caregivers strategies based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), they can use at home, school and in the community.
Summer topics include developing visual supports, improving mealtime routines and beginning toilet training. 

These workshops are free, but parents and caregivers are asked to RSVP at siskin.org/triad. Limited childcare is available first come, first served.
