E|SPACES, an innovative office and meeting space concept opening June 1 in Chattanooga, announces former pro golfer Derek Rende as vice president of sales. Mr. Rende will be responsible for connecting area businesses with the service, amenities and space available at E|SPACES.

“In launching a new E|SPACES facility, we needed the right location and the right team,” said Jon Pirtle, CEO of E|SPACES. “Chattanooga is perfect for our concept, and having Derek on board is a huge asset to our team. I know he’ll do well in driving sales at E|SPACES, while continuing to build on his community relationships.”

Born and raised in the Chattanooga area, Mr. Rende returns home after traveling the world and competing on various professional golf tours, including winning on the PGA Tour Latin America. Before touring, he graduated with a degree in criminal justice from UTC, where he played for the nationally ranked golf team.

As vice president of sales, Mr. Rende will spearhead efforts at the E|SPACES Chattanooga location to build the customer base, recruit new business and increase revenue. E|SPACES is a Nashville-based company with locations in Belle Meade and Cool Springs. Future facilities are planned for Franklin and Orlando, Fla. Membership includes access to all locations.

Described as a “coffee shop meets executive suite” experience, the company offers month-to-month and flexible membership plans at different levels, which include community space, private offices and single meeting rooms in addition to amenities such as an on-site manager, free parking, complimentary refreshments, mailbox, video conferencing and high speed Wi-Fi. As an added benefit, E|SPACES regularly hosts networking and complimentary after-hours events for members.

The facility invites everyone to a public open house on Wednesday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and is offering a 20 percent discount on space reserved then or on opening day, June 1.
