New MY SALON Suite Location Set To Open In Chattanooga

MY SALON Suite, an upscale salon suite franchise, announced on Thursday the opening of a new location in the Chattanooga market. Conveniently located at the intersection of Lee Highway and McCutcheon Road (7053 Lee Highway Road) in Chattanooga, the new MY SALON Suite location includes a collection of private, spacious suites for a variety of health and beauty professionals, and will open on Monday. 

The new location spans 4,500 square feet with 24 individual luxury suites.

Guests who visit MY SALON Suite are treated to the latest hair, aesthetic, spa, and related beauty services. 

Local residents David and Nancy Dodson own the location and will manage daily operations. They will lease fully equipped suites to a variety of established beauty professionals, whom MY SALON Suite warmly refers to as its members. Members are provided with local and national marketing and business development support, operations assistance, all suite and building maintenance, among other services.

Georgia Labor Market Sets Records In August

Georgia Labor Commissioner Mark Butler said  Thursday  that Georgia’s unemployment rate for August dipped below the national number for the first time  in 11 years . The rate, at 3.8 percent, is approaching the state’s record low of 3.4 percent, set in 2000. At 3.8 percent, it is down .1 percent from July. By comparison, the national rate is 3.9 percent. ... 1 Killed In Crash On Highway 58 Saturday Afternoon

Juvenile Shot On East 14th Street On Friday

A juvenile was shot Friday evening on East 14th Street. The Chattanooga Police Department responded at 6:45 p.m. to a person shot in the 2000 block of East 14th Street. Upon arrival, Officers located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
