Carroll Given 15 Years For Meth Conviction; Was Arrested After Cleveland Motorcycle Chase

A man who was arrested after a motorcycle chase in Cleveland, Tn., has been sentenced to serve 15 years in federal prison.

Kenneth James Carroll appeared before Judge Travis McDonough.

An officer in Cleveland last Sept. 6 noticed that there was no license on the motorcycle Carroll was operating. Carroll sped off when the officer tried to stop him.

He abandoned the motorcycle after spinning out in a church parking lot. He tried to flee on foot, but was caught.

Police found a .38 caliber revolver and $600 cash on Carroll.

There were four ounces of meth in a black box on the motorcycle.

He had a prior felony drug conviction.
